Apoyo LodgeApoyo Lodge sits on over an acre of property deep within the tropical nature reserve of Laguna de Apoyo. Just footsteps away from the lodge are the pristine healing waters of Apoyo Lagoon.

Apoyo Lodge boasts 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms and can comfortably sleep 12 – 18 people. There are two expansive suites equipped with queen beds and french doors that lead to private balconies where guests can relax and admire views of the laguna. All rooms are equipped with ceiling and floor fans and have their own private, American standard bathrooms. All linens and beach towels are provided. There is also a full sized washing machine on site.

Amenities at the lodge include a spacious fully equipped open air kitchen, dining and living area with direct views of lush greenery and the lake. Colorful swinging hammock chairs hang suspended from arches in the living area.

For guests comfort, there is unlimited WiFi, daily maid service, 24-hour security, all natural toiletry products; shampoo, conditioner and hand soap are provided. There is also ample hot water.

Hotel La Calzada

In addition, there is a private skate park, two story yoga palapa, cement ping pong table, slack line and private outdoor rancho equipped with refrigerator, charcoal BBQ and wood-fired oven. Also available for guest use is a small sailboat, paddle boat and twelve inner tubes.

Owners Shamus and Sasha are a young Canadian couple who live in their own home on the property, apart from the lodge and are always accessible in case assistance is needed. Shamus and Sasha will be on hand to greet guests upon their arrival, as well as their departure.
