Guesthouses In Canada

Guest Houses in CanadaThere are guesthouses across Canada offering travels an option to hotel or hostels stays.

A guesthouse is private house offering accommodations to paying guests. Not to be confused with the use of the term guesthouse in the USA, which refers to a small, separate house on the grounds of a larger one, used for accommodating guests.

Canadian guest houses are usually operated along the lines of a Bed & Breakfast, although some offer lunches and dinners for guests staying more than one night. Most offer guests a private bathroom, but not all. It is a good idea to ask what’s included prior to booking a guesthouse.

Some guesthouse options are listed below by province, then city. The list is in alphabetical order…

Vagabond

Vagabond Travel came into being April 16, 2014 when I departed Canada heading for Mexico City. I have no destination in mind, nor an itinerary to follow. This is a sort of website, journal and travel blog all rolled into one. That's about it.
