There are 36 national parks in Chile that total an area of 9,141,200 hectares, as well as numerous city parks in larger urban centers such as Santiago.

National Parks

Alberto de Agostini National Park – Located 80 nautical miles southwest of Punta Arenas.
Laguna del Laja National Park – Located within the Valdivian temperate forests ecoregion.
Torres del Paine National Park – Renowned for its three towering granite peaks of the Paine Massif.
