Urban Hideaway Guesthouse offers affordable, private rooms and suites. Domiciled in a 19th century Victorian guesthouse, right in the center of Vancouver, Urban Hideaway Guesthouse is cross between a hostel, a B&B and a guesthouse. It’s only a 6 minute walk to vibrant Robson Street’s shops and restaurants.
There are 3 guestrooms with shared bathrooms that feature basic furnishings and in-room sinks. An upgraded room has a TV and DVD player, plus a park views. A loft style suite with a private bathroom has skylights, TV and DVD player. Breakfast is included.
Urban Hideaway Guesthouse has a rooftop terrace with picnic tables and BBQs. Guests are free to sample the movie library or take out one of the loaner bikes. Guests are also welcome to share the kitchen and laundry room.
Urban Hideaway Guesthouse was built for wilderness bound travelers during the height of the Victorian era, in 1896. It is a unique building in that it is one of the only downtown homes of the era to survive into the 20th century. Literally the city of Vancouver grew up around it.
